SRK-V/s - Aamir

The media may wax eloquent about a cold war between Bollywood's two big Khans, Shahrukh Khan and Aamir Khan. But both of them deny that there is any bad blood between them.
SRK laughed off his “spat” with Aamir as a joke. While addressing a 200-plus crowd at the Emporio Mall as a brand ambassador for Swiss watch brand Tag Heuer, SRK said, “I don't pick on Aamir. You guys (the media) make a big thing out of it. It's a joke, so we carry on with it. It's no big deal at all.” King Khan also added that he would talk to Aamir regarding the rumours about the “cold war” and clear it all himself.
Aamir Khan also seems to deal the "cold war" issue in a similar cool, nonchalant manner. Recently in Delhi to promote Ghajini, when asked about his “spat” with King Khan, Aamir responded: “Do you think I could dare to fight with Shahrukh? He is a good friend and so I can't fight with him. I respect him a lot.” When questioned about SRK's claim to be the biggest brand for whom there can be no competition, Aamir dismissed the question with, “I don't believe in competition with others. I only compete with myself.” Aamir joked that his forthcoming film's title Three Idiots should be rightfully given to the three Khans of Bollywood – himself, SRK and Salman.
Though both the Khans say that there is no “spat” between them and that the “cold war” was just an invention of the media, the actors did make public remarks against each other. What happened to all those remarks? Have they settled scores among themselves in private?
Whatever the case, both now seem to ready to bury the hatchet and that is to be welcomed!
